Social Responsibility Program Manager @ Google

Hector is a Social Responsibility Program Manager at Google. He manages Googler philanthropic engagement for various regions of the United States and Latin America, as well as an array of other philanthropic initiatives and programs. Hector is the portfolio lead for disaster relief within the GooglersGive team, managing Googler disaster giving and volunteering via the Google Disaster Corps (GDC) program. He is also one of the lead advisors to HOLA, Google’s Hispanic employee resource group. His background includes strategic investment banking at Oppenheimer & Co., public policy at the U.S. Congress, and international affairs at the Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, along with other previous roles at Google. Hector is a graduate from Florida International University, where he received a B.B.A. with a focus in International Business and a minor in International Relations. Hector is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and now resides in San Jose, California.
